May Day, Mother’s Day and Cinqo de Mayo all rolled into the month of May found the Easton Girl Scout troop hosting Reading Room visitors using the theme, “Herstory.” Reading My Name is not Isabella, all learned that girls can dream big and be anything they want to be, be it scientist, activist, astronaut, cowgirl, doctor and/or mother. Discussion and graphics of qualities needed to fulfill dreams were composed. All left with maracas made to celebrate the Cinqo de Mayo holiday.
