On the evening of November 23, 2012, prior to the lighting of the Peace Candle, Cops ‘n’ Kids volunteers joined the Easton Police Department in distributing book marks for free books, toys and activities packets and assisting with making pine cone bird feeders, some of which, along with the ornaments, were hung on the Children’s Tree with a real boost from the Easton Area High Basketball Team. Together, children and their families and Cops ‘n’ Kids volunteers welcomed in the holiday season in a fun-filled way.
