Cops ‘n’ Kids of Easton has joined in partnership with the Block Watch of Easton to promote and encourage parents to protect their children by registering them in the national Child Safety ID Program, which is strongly supported by the Easton Police Department and the City of Easton. The first registration was held on Saturday, August, 20, 2011. The registrations will continue to be conducted by the Easton Block Watch on future Saturdays at the Reading Room. (Refer to the Reading Room schedule for specific dates.) Parents must accompany their child.
Officer Arredondo set the theme for the day with a story and discussion with the children about “Stranger Danger.”
