A crowd of over 1,500 people attended the day-long event and stopped at the Cops ‘n’ Kids table to select books at the 8th annual Lukie’s Festival was held at Pen Argyl’s Weona Park on October 8, 2011. The family of Lukie, an infant, who died of spinal muscular atrophy disease, sponsor the fundraising event for research each year in his memory.
