Irish tales, Irish potato and soda bread, and green crafts were the order of the day as Cops ‘n’ Kids celebrated St. Patrick’s Day. Volunteer coordinator, Maureen Brehm, provided the story of Jamie, an Irish boy too young to walk in the traditional St. Patrick’s Day parade in his town in Ireland. He finds a way to do so without his family ever knowing it, as told in the story, St. Patrick’s Day in the Morning.
