Honoring Dr. Martin Luther King , Jr. , an American hero, on January 18, 2014, through stories of the man and related activity was inspiring. Members of the Allentown Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. and youth participating in the organization’s mentoring program, GEMS /EMBODI, read and assisted with the specially designed program for the Reading Room visitors. In addition, they collected books earlier and donated them to Cops ‘n’ Kids at that same time to expand the selection of books available to be claimed by visitors who love to read.
