On October 6, 2012, for the second year in a row, Cops ‘n’ Kids participated in Lukie’s Fall Festival, a fundraising event for spinal muscular atrophy research. Though threatening storms dampened the event a bit, about 1,500 people turned out in Weona Park in Pen Argyl to select Cops ‘n’ Kids free books and enjoy the many children’s activities along with good food and entertainment.
