Pooh Visits the Doctor

Dr. Wildrick put on his lab coat and let one of the kids volunteer to find the doctor’s tool in his doctor’s kit as it was mentioned in the story. Then each child got to hear his-her own heart through the stethoscope and play with it on their stuffed animals. Kids brought bears and other stuffed animals. They played with the light tool that goes in the eyes and ears and nose. Dr. Wildrick used the hammer on all their knee to test reflexes, and they tried to find their pulse on their wrists. He discussed what can be found out by such basic checks and encouraged them to become doctors.

Afterwards, the winning ticket for the large Teddy Bear was pulled. Kids took free books home as well as little Teddy bears donated by Curto Toy Manuf. Co.
